About KOORPNER

KOORPNER looks at a photo of your pencil and calculates, to two decimal places, how many seconds you should sharpen it.

You could just sharpen it until it looks sharp. That option has always been available. We simply refuse to acknowledge it.

Every measurement is derived from the actual pixels of your image — edge energy, graphite exposure, contrast and tip taper. The same photo always gives the same answer, because nonsense should at least be reproducible.

Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The math happens right in your browser, uselessly.
